For the 13th year, Darwin will play host to the country's largest and most prestigious Indigenous art event, the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (DAAF). The Northern Territory capital will be transformed into an internationally recognised epicentre of Aboriginal and Torres Strait (ATSI) art, culture, fashion, dance, music and food attracting more than 2,000 artists from 70 Art Centres across the country.

As a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to encourage the production of Aboriginal arts and assist with their promotion in an ethical business environment, 100 per cent of the sales generated at DAAF are returned to the Art Centres and their Indigenous communities.

The hugely popular ‘From Country to Couture’ fashion show will be back celebrating the marriage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contemporary fine art and high-end fashion. Running on Wednesday the 7th of August, From Country to Couture will be comprised of two shows, the first launching an exciting new collaboration between Mangkaja Arts X Gorman, and the second showcasing ten boutique collections designed and crafted in collaboration with remote community art centre.
