2019 Festival of Chariots

Brisbane city will come alive to celebrate the joys and festivities of Eastern culture. Be part of Brisbane's thriving multicultural community and bring the family along to participate in an afternoon of free entertainment and wonderful food and activities. The Festival of Chariots will involve lots of free activities for the family:

- Pulling a large beautifully coloured wooden chariot through the streets of Brisbane
- Arts, crafts and food stalls
- Cooking demonstrations
- Live entertainment and performances
- Music and dancing
- Face painting and other activities for the kids
- Sumptuous food and drinks; and
- 'Free' lunch for everyone

Come and take part in the excitement and festivities. The wooden chariot will depart King George Square at 11:00am, travel through the streets of Brisbane city and return to the Square at 12:30pm, where celebrations and activities will continue for the rest of the afternoon until 4pm.
