2019 Melbourne Cat Lovers Show

This November, the hotly anticipated Cat Lovers Show returns to Melbourne for its second year at the Royal Exhibition Building. The show is a veritable feline festival, containing everything for and about Cats in the one place, where all aspects of Cat ownership are celebrated.

The 2019 show layout will be 70% larger, designed to provide a better visitor experience with more room to prowl and explore, spanning both floors of the Royal Exhibition building and even including an outdoor Feline Food Truck Festival. Working with the industry and Victorian breed groups, this year’s Show will have with triple the number of Cats and over 30 different breed groups attending with plenty of opportunities to meet, interact and learn about wonderful felines.

The event features a series of unique feline-inspired feature zones, offering visitors the chance to learn, be inspired and connect with fellow Cat Lovers. Attendees will have the opportunity to get up and close with cats of all shapes and sizes at the Pat-A-Cat zone, find the best breed to suit their lifestyle in the Trouble & Trix Breed Showcase, learn about the importance of adoption at the Petstock Assist Adoption Zone, and have all their kitty questions answered in the Ask-An-Expert Zone. The Show is the perrr-fect day out with loads of feline entertainment; with demonstrations from cat trainer extraordinaire, Catmantoo and his superstar felines Bindi and Didja and educational talks by some of Australia’s most renowned vets and animal experts, including Dr Chris Brown, Dr Katrina Warren, Kelly Gill, Rose Horton, and Bondi Vet, Dr Danni Dusek.

The Cat Lovers Show is the first and only major festival in Australia dedicated to celebrating our fabulous felines whilst educating, entertaining and informing the passionate cat community.
