"Hi, I'm Rivka Worth. I thrive on bringing humans together in ceremonial dance, where freedom, connection and transformation are individually and collectively embodied on the dance floor. My dance floors range from inner-city church halls, sandy lined shores, leafy green forest beds and red desert earth. I am dedicated to connecting us back to nature through our own embodiment.

I have been dancing since the womb. I distinctly remember my first dance classes as a 3yr old with Dorotea Mangiamele of Mangala Dance. I would always direct and choreograph on my sisters and cousins whilst growing up and then started teaching professionally in the community, aged 19.
I have been a space holder/facilitator of expressive and somatic movement for 28 years, danced 5Rhythms for over 25 years and a certified 5Rhythms teacher since 2014. I share this with you, not to brag, however, but to entice you into space with depth and rich diversity of decades of experience and modalities that I bring into my teaching.

My work is well known as a community dance practitioner, teaching outreach dance in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, mothers and babies, aged care, justice settings, remote indigenous communities, artists with disabilities and survivors of abuse. I am a nature lover, a DJ, a long-time student of yoga, contact improvisation and body-mind centring. I have a BA in Dance and I am a student at the university of life. I am currently studying as a Body-Mind Centering Somatic Movement Educator and integrate somatic embodiment practices into all my work.

My practice is creative, expressive, intuitive and shamanic. I hold space for you to dance your own dance in collaboration with one another and the earth we inhabit. Heart to heart, centre to centre, bass to bass, as a DJ music lover, I draw on deep, medicinal, multi-faceted music to catalyse energy on the dance floor and transport your journey all the way.

Let's dance together, I can't wait!
