A Celebration of Abilities – Newcastle Music Festival

Three fabulous groups celebrating inclusion and the joy of music perform in this innovative and inspiring concert.

Perform-Ability was created by Novocastrian Miranda Daisy Hayman to offer dance, drama and music programs for people of all ages with special needs and disabilities. Be prepared for the joy which emanates from these performers.

Shake, Rattle and Roll: This choir meets weekly and is for those with Parkinson’s Disease and their carers. As well as social contact, the voice and the brain get a good work out with songs which challenge us.

Under Construction Mental Health and Well-being Choir was formed in 2008. We create an optimistic community for our members through singing, movement, musicianship and friendship.

The event will be at the Fort Scratchley Function Centre.
