Renowned chef and owner of Australia’s most delicious restaurant, Tulum, Coskun Uysal is joining us to share secrets of one of his signature dishes. Coskun will give visitors the opportunity to watch him prepare Cilbir, a delicious and traditional dish of poached eggs with yoghurt.
One of Coskun’s personal favourites, Cilbir is very much emotionally tied to his mother. She would work all the time to support the family and then come home to Coskun as a child and make it especially for him, before preparing the family meal. Coskun has used his memories of childhood comfort food to create Tulum’s very own Cilbir.
Coskun will run through how to make the dish, consisting of poached egg, chicken skin, brown butter sauce, brown butter crumble and smoked yoghurt.
Guests will also be able to speak to Coskun and buy a signed copy of his book ‘Tulum’ at the end of the demonstration.
