AFL W 3.0, Round 5: GWS Giants vs Melbourne

It’s round 5 of the AFL Women’s Competition and things are really heating up. The GWS Giants take on Melbourne on Sunday afternoon, March 3, at the Blacktown International Sportspark. With the finals looming, the footy just gets more thrilling. Last time these teams faced each other it came down to the wire with Melbourne scoring a late goal and taking the game.

On home turf, Giants fans will be out in force hoping to turn the tables for this one. Summer footy on a Sunday arvo is so much fun…even if the footy part isn’t totally your thing. The AFLW is so much more, so come for the DJ, a bite to eat, and a drink. Lounge in a bean bag on the Harvey Norman Hill, while the kids enjoy snow cones, Giants inflatables and face painting.
