The Davs are well-known locally as an incubator for talented young musicians, a la John Mayall, the band have some superb young players who are capturing attention at their shows; the latest are Daniel Wiggins on guitar, and Albany farmer's daughter turned jazz tenor saxophonist Alannah Chapman who trained at James Morrison Academy.

Combined with the other experienced members of the Davs collective, including Blues man 'Blew Drew', funkmeister on bass Mark Wiggins, keyboard wiz Dr Cuz, solid-steady drummer Rolf Fox, and band leader and award winning song writer Dilip Parekh, the result is an intoxicating musical cocktail that bursts forth on stage.

At present the band are recording their 9th album due for release later this year.
