His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, the newly enthroned Greek-Orthodox Archbishop of Australia, will arrive in Adelaide on Saturday 31 August for his first pastoral visit to this State since his enthronement in June.
His Eminence holds the highest position in the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese in Australia, and the visit is part of a broader pastoral tour to major Australian cities to welcome the new Archbishop to Australia.
A five-day schedule of community and official events has been planned to welcome Archbishop Makarios to Adelaide. Members of the public will have the opportunity to participate at a variety of events.
