‘Beauty and the Reef’

Lin Sutherland’s latest documentary feature film ‘Beauty and the Reef’ hit the big screen attracting Queensland’s environmental minister and minister for The Great Barrier Reef the honourable Leeanne Enoch who opened the Queensland tour October last year. It has already sent ripples around communities and governments and is set to shake this world up in caring for our coral reefs and encourage the world into action to help bring back the beauty and diversity of Australia's Great Barrier Reef and other valuable reefs around the world.

Audiences have been moved by Lin's unfolding eye witness account clocking up over 10,000 dives and documented the environmental changes affecting the Great Barrier Reef both on the land and in the sea through her self motivated quest, visiting and interviewing leading experts around the world to understand why.

Recently screened in South East Queensland the team now have their sights set on the nationwide tour to help raise urgent awareness. Through teaming up with organisations, educators, tourism providers. councils and corporations this film will help the world understand the urgency to save our Great barrier Reef. With calls around Australia to screen the film the team at Beauty and the Reef help this film travel to get the message out as we race the clock in combating climate change and bringing back the beauty and colour on our Great Barrier Reef.

We encourage everyone to stand up and understand what are the factors contributing most to our reefs demise and join the passion and action of a world seeking change. Come and enjoy the show but enjoy even more the knowledge that will carry you forward and help you crate change wherever you can and join fight to bring back the world most valuable natural asset and our lifeline the Great Barrier Reef.
