Tackling the War on Waste with Lydia Beshara in a series of 4 basic stitch basketry workshops using both found, used and new materials

Grab your old shirts, sheets, wool, ribbon or whatever else you have lying around and join us for a beginners’ basketry workshop at Plant Craft Cottage nestled in the RBGV Melbourne Gardens. Each workshop (in a series of 4) will inspire you to make your very own treasures by re-purposing your old clothes and plant materials to tackle the growing war on waste. You can come to one or come to each of the beginners’ workshops which will teach you how to make something different, once you’ve started, basket-making will hook you in. Soon you will be collecting materials and making presents for everyone. It's a delightfully relaxing, rewarding avenue for self-expression.

- Limit of 10 per workshop Morning tea and coffee provided. BYO Lunch.
- Bookings essential.
