Beginners Jewellery Earring Making Workshop

A fun beginners jewellery class in the fabulous Sydney CBD Gaffa jewellery workshop upstairs from Ihnen Atelier. Spend the day making your very own sterling silver earrings using stamping, riveting and metal texturing techniques.

The workshop is designed with a limit of 6 students per class to make sure each student is given one on one tuition when needed. The class is taught by Melanie Ihnen who has over 12 years experience teaching private and group jewellery classes.

You will learn:
- Measuring and cutting sterling silver, cooper and brass
- Texturing and stamping metal
- Riveting – cold joining technique
- Polishing techniques

All tools usage, materials and sterling silver are included in the entry fee.

You will need to bring:
- An apron and old hand towel
- Pencil and note book
