Beginners Jewellery Ring Making Class

A fun beginners jewellery class in the fabulous Sydney CBD Gaffa jewellery workshop upstairs from Ihnen Atelier Jewellery. Spend the day making your very own sterling silver ring band using stamping and metal texturing techniques.

The workshop is designed with a limit of 6 students per class to make sure each student is given one on one tuition when needed. The class is taught by Melanie Ihnen who has over 12 years experience teaching private and group jewellery classes.

You will learn:

- Measuring and cutting sterling silver to the correct ring size
- Texturing and stamping silver
- Soldering a ring band
- Polishing techniques
- All tools, materials and sterling silver are included in the fee.

You will need to bring:

- An apron and old hand towel
- Pencil and note book
- Lunch, drinks and snacks

All participants are required to have their hair tied back and to wear protective covered shoes.
