The Buninyong Film Festival Committee is pleased to present it’s 27th Film Festival in the heart of Buninyong Village. This year’s Festival is bigger than ever before with now 3 days and 9 films being presented!
The annual Buninyong Film Festival will once again showcase another sparkling array of arthouse films—from Spain, Lebanon, Italy and the USA, in addition to our favourite Australian documentaries and short films.
On Sunday morning for just a gold coin entry to the film Oddball, you can also meet Australian animal trainer, Luke Hura who trained the dogs Oddball and Red Dog for the big screen.
Adding to this year’s program will also be free screenings of the heritage film ‘Mooramong - Private Hollywood’ about silent film actress Claire Adams and her husband Donald ‘Scobie’ MacKinnon, who made the Mooramong Homestead at Skipton, Victoria, their home in 1938. Another addition this year is two free guided heritage walks around Buninyong showing historical and geological landmarks.
The very popular Saturday night dinner will be once again held at Pig and Goose and you can book a Saturday lunch box delivered by local café Maggie & Kate. Popcorn, choc tops, candy bar, Friday night supper and cocktails! So many offerings for our little Festival!
