The Busselton Jetty Swim is a premier event on the WA sporting calendar and features a 3.6km ocean swim (Sunday, Feb 10) around the iconic Busselton Jetty and plenty of entertainment, activities and fun for the whole family.

The event is open to everyone including novice, professional and swimmers with disabilities with participants having the option to complete the course solo or in teams of two or four. The fastest swimmers complete the swim in approximately 40 minutes, however novice swimmers can take approximately three hours to complete the course.

The SunSmart Busselton Jetty Swim committee is delighted to introduce a new swim option for 2019.

Busselton Jetty One Mile - Swim to Shore

There wouldn't be many swims anywhere that you could start at 1 mile out to sea to swim back to the beach, that's jumping in at the deep end! Swimmers will enter the water on the western side of the Jetty, from the ramp near the Underwater Observatory, and will swim back to the beach to finish.  That's a distance of approximately 1.6km (or 1 Mile).

This will be a rolling start, with friends able to swim together. There are 300 individual (solo) start spots available and entry will open on 1st October, 2018 at 05:00am WST (Perth Time). Be aware that we are expecting entries to sell-out quickly!

More details will be forthcoming in the next few weeks with regards to precise start time, and advice on getting to the start line, please check back here again to learn more. The main swim is followed by the Busselton Jetty Kid's Swim, a 222 meter swim for 8 to 12 year olds around the outside of the Swimming Jetty.

Be a part of the atmosphere and enter the best jetty swim in the world.
