'Chaos' Is Coming – A Night With Alisha Todd

Alisha Todd is returning to Foxy On Coolum to celebrate the release of her new single, 'Chaos'! Foxy was one of the first venues to house Alisha and her music upon her return to Australia 2 years ago and no doubt the room will be warm with the smiley faces and free spirits from this part of the coastline. And wait, there's more! Musical partner and lover Mr Scott French will also be adding his dusting of magic to set. Empty your cups before coming, coz these two are 'bout to fill 'em till they overflow!

The new single ‘Chaos’ is a powerful synth-driven lament for the current social and natural crisis, a song that dances around the disappointment of our higher forces and paints a hopeful future to cling to. It’s a reaction to the approval of the Adani Charmichael Mine on the beautiful and abundant land of the Wangan and Jagalingou Traditional Owners.

For the most part, Alisha’s music plays in a positive, wanderlust light. For this uncharacteristically dark song, she and Scott locked into Love Street Studios on the Gold Coast to sculpt the necessary sonic textures to drive home the heaviness behind the song.
