Chinese New Year Celebrations

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with activities for the entire family including centre-wide Lion Dancing and kids’ lion mask making workshops. Plus, your chance to win $1,000 worth of prizes at our Chinese New Year balloon drop.

Lion Dances
The Lion Dance includes 3 different dances over the hour throughout the centre with drums, music, symbols and a Chinese gong. Customers are encouraged to follow the Lions along their path.

Red Balloon Drop
In celebration of Chinese New Year, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre will be giving away $1,000 in gift cards, free coffees, retailer offers and new year messages inside an assortment of 1,000 balloons which will be dropped from the ceiling. The balloon drop will be at the end of the first Lion Dance where they finish on level 1.
