Cinema in the Square – Coco

Looking for a way to enjoy the balmy, relaxed summer nights? The City of Greater Dandenong's Cinema in the Square is here, with our biggest line up of movies yet! Sit back, relax and enjoy free outdoor cinema under the stars. Bring a blanket, some chairs or even a picnic, and head down to Harmony Square every Friday night from 1 February to 15 March.

Movies will be subtitled where possible.

Coco (G):

An uplifting animation celebrating life, music and family, inspired by Día de los Muertos. Despite his family's generations-old ban on music, young Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colourful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming trickster named Héctor (Gael García Bernal), the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history.

This screening is set to bring fun, laughter, heart-warming songs and a big dose of Disney/Pixar magic to Harmony Square.
