Presented by Arts House as part of Dance Massive.

There’s a site, where the physical and spiritual meet. Where the passing of lore between two coexisting worlds occurs. Boomerangs clap, possum skin drums thud, singing and chanting echo while feet rhythmically stomp. And then silence. Conversation has been disconnected and commutes have ceased. The site is suspended; no longer activated.

Karul Projects invite you to experience the story of this site as a physical being in the world premiere of Co_ex_en, a riveting new dance creation by Thomas E.S. Kelly. Using wit, humour and a choreographic style that is all his own, Kelly ignites a conversation about our past, present and future.
