On Thursday 29 August, popular Melbourne CBD precinct, Collins Place, will present a Fashion Soirée—a stylish afternoon event held in celebration of Melbourne Fashion Week.

Hosted at luxury CBD hotel, Sofitel Melbourne, the catwalk event will be hosted by former TV presenter and beloved Australian personality, Annette Allison, and will showcase the top trends from favourite retailers including Jacqui Fernandes, Feathers, Cable and MJ Bale as well as a collection of race-day hats from two of Melbourne’s best milliners. Models will sport the latest hair and make-up looks as styled by the team at Rokk Ebony and Palladio.

The runway looks have been curated by leading stylist, Anika Walker, who will also host a live discussion at the event with a must-see line-up of industry names including Jacqui Fernandes (local Melbourne designer), Adam Tsen and Karlie Crow (from Feathers) and Melbourne milliner, Melissa Jackson. All guests will share their style inspiration and top wardrobe picks for the upcoming Summer season.

Mixing food with fashion, event attendees will also be treated to a chic high tea experience featuring monochromatic-themed culinary delights including charcoal scones served with blackberry preserve and cream, a ‘black rose’ raspberry sponge with blueberry jelly and a black sesame cone with salted caramel, passionfruit gel and coconut chiboust filling.

Tickets are now available and bookings are essentials. Tickets are inclusive of event entry, a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, high tea and a gift bag (valued at RRP $60).

Located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, Collins Place is the fashion destination for city workers and shoppers who are seeking timeless elegance and the latest looks.
