See the best of local Roma artists and learn about the legacy of renowned Queensland artist and founder of Flying Arts Alliance, Mervyn Moriarty.

The 'Colour and Response' touring exhibition project consists of two exhibitions at each venue. The first exhibition, 'Colour II: Merv Moriarty, In the Field' explores the legacy of Mervyn Moriarty and his flying art school. Each gallery along the tour will also present a local exhibition drawing on Flying Arts legacies, under the mentorship of Flying Arts curator Lisa Beilby.

Roma on Bungil's response exhibition 'From the Verandah' examines the quintessential Australian icon of the verandah as a place of leisure, family and connection to nature. This theme pays homage to Mervyn's travels to Outback Australia and the generous hospitality of his students.
