Connecting to Convicts Special Open Day

Come along and learn something new about female convicts in the area, who they were and what misdemeanours resulted in deportation. Join in a bonnet making workshop where a bonnet is being made or decorated for each name in the district. Suitable for all ages. This special open day is part of the Australian Heritage Festival season with the theme Connecting People, places and the past. The museum and cottage will be open and you can purchase fresh scones with real cream.
