NSW singer-songwriter Amy Vee has just realised her highly-anticipated second record, Same Skin.

"We want to represent the album really respectfully, but at the same time create something special that people can’t get from listening to the studio tracks," Vee told The Music.

"It feels like a long time since I’ve been out on the road just playing my own songs—I spend a lot of time working on other people's projects, which I love, but there’s nothing quite as exciting—and frankly, terrifying—as putting your own work to the test this way.

"I've intentionally chosen venues that are super intimate—I want to create an environment where people feel safe to just immerse themselves in the music and forget about the outside world; to just be in the moment."
