With special guests. Sydney’s much loved Dear Seattle have today unveiled their highly anticipated debut album 'Don’t Let Go', via Domestic La La . To celebrate the release, the band will hitting the Espy stage this June.

Doors 8:00pm
Showtime TBC

Recorded during a month in Homesurgery Studios in Melbourne, the band have created a truly unique and powerful style of songwriting that’s connecting with fans across Australia and the rest of the world. Looking behind their booze-soaked, larrikin image and self-effacing humour, you’ll discover a depth and dimension to 'Don’t Let Go' that you may not have expected.

You’ll find songs that explore anxiety (“Bigger Than My Brain”), self-doubt (“Daytime TV”), reckless living (“Homegrown”), the fake nature of the music industry (“Try”), the shame of not being able to provide for a loved one due to financial constraints of being a full-time musician (“Broke and Hungry”) and one of the album’s most touching songs “I Keep Dreaming”, which was written about Fisher’s father, who passed away when the singer was seven.

Dear Seattle’s path to this point gained momentum with the release of their self-titled EP in 2017, with the band embracing a grunge-tinged brand of rock’n’roll that saw singles such as “The Meadows” and “Afterthought” receive handsome triple j airplay.

That same year they signed with Domestic La La, a new record label spearheaded by Violent Soho guitarist James Tidswell. This success saw the band tour with the likes of Tired Lion, Balance And Composure, Kingswood, Hockey Dad and Trophy Eyes, not to mention festival slots on Groovin The Moo, Unify, Festival Of The Sun, Party In The Paddock and Brisbane’s annual music industry showcase, Bigsound.
