‘Discover Mixed Media’ Art Workshop with Olivia Alexander.

About:
Bring your art and creative process to life when you discover the exciting world of mixed media!
Students will explore several different mixed media techniques using inks, acrylics, watercolours and other various mediums to create interesting effects and layers. You will be encouraged to explore how you can use these techniques within your own painting style. All levels, but some painting experience is preferable. Sorry, no wheelchair access due to stairs.

What to bring:
- Students bring their own art materials and will receive a materials list from Olivia after booking.
- Supplies can be purchased at Eckersley’s Art Store underneath the studio.
- BYO Lunch, Microwave & Fridge available. Cafes nearby. Complimentary tea, coffee & biscuits.

Minimum of 5 students required. A deposit of $30 is required to confirm your spot.

About Olivia:
Olivia Alexander is an internationally awarded contemporary artist who specialises in using intriguing mixed media techniques to create contemporary artworks. She has been a professional artist and part time art tutor for almost two decades but has been creating art since childhood.

Olivia’s international recognition includes two medal diplomas from the Paris Society of Arts, Sciences and Letters, a silver medal diploma from the French International Academy of Merit, the Art Critics Award and the Rome Imperial International award from Italy. She was a finalist in the international Brisbane Art Prize, 2015 and the New York International Art Contest at Gateway Art Centre, NY in 2016. Olivia is represented by galleries and curators in New York, Chicago, Paris, Italy and Australia. She works from her studio on the Gold Coast.
