Dumpling Eating Competition

Dumpling lovers are invited to grab their chopsticks and dig into The Galeries’ first ever dumpling eating competition on Thursday 26 September.

To celebrate World Dumpling Day, The Galeries are teaming up with the experts at Lotus Dining to host the culinary competition. The top speed eater will set The Galeries first ever dumpling eating record while also striving to smash the Guinness World Record of 30 dumplings eaten in just two minutes.

Dumpling fans will have just two minutes to down as many delicious dumplings as possible with the winner taking home a $200 Lotus Dining voucher while the runner up and most entertaining dumpling eater will each snag a $100 Lotus Dining voucher.

Hosted by renowned Australian foodie Melissa Leong from Fooderati, The Galeries welcomes all keen dumpling fiends to join the contest at 1pm on the ground floor (opposite Incu). With DJ Minx setting the scene, Lotus Dining will also be offering $10 dumpling baskets filled with crab meat & prawn and a delicious lobster tail all day long.
