Sleep Deprivation, Recovery Collective, Bushtechno & Crate Mates present: Extrawelt Live (Cocoon/Border Community).

Schöne Neue Extrawelt
Following a stand-out performance closing the mammoth Wildlands stage at Strawberry Fields 2017, German techno royalty Extrawelt return with their acclaimed all-live set September 27th! Following remarkable success in their own solo projects, James Holden headhunted the duo in 2005 for their breakthrough release “Soopertrack” on Holden’s renowned Border Community catapulting Extrawelt into a global stardom, amassing countless millions of plays online and celebrated releases on Sven Väth’s Cocoon Recordings, Kompakt and Traum Schallplatten. Over the last decade they have honed their live performance with constant touring across the worlds largest festivals, outdoor events and club nights, bringing a unique flavour of evolving techno and breakbeat moving between contemplative atmospheres, driving rhythms and analog funk heavily influencing countless major electronic artists today.

Bringing their signature “futurist yet purist” sound and huge live rig to the infamous underground tunnels below Flinders Street Station, four of Melbourne’s most forward thinking crews have assembled an extensively diverse support lineup of local talent covering many angles of our thriving electronic scenes and this paired with our focus on pristine sound and lighting production and a very special yet-unannounced A/V show makes this exclusive Victorian appearance of Extrawelt guaranteed to sell out in record time. Very limited early bird tix available now via Eventbrite.
