Fables, Fairy Stories and Fantasy

As part of this month’s History Festival, Kay Brothers are opening up their personal library, showcasing their children’s book collection with an exhibition called, "Fables, Fairy Stories and Fantasy”. With a collection spanning 170 years and 5 generations of children’s books, this exhibition will give visitors the opportunity to marvel at the children’s books from generations past.

Featuring titles from Australian and international authors, this collection began in the 1800s when William and Sarah Kay arrived in South Australia. The exhibition will be on throughout History Festival, until July 31st, at the Kay Brothers Cellar Door.
