River Arts performing as Melbourne 7 Melody String is a non-profit music and arts association. Its purpose is to develop and disseminate the Chinese folk music heritage in Australia; secondly, through our regular rehearsals and performances to allow the overseas Chinese to enjoy the beauty of music and to promote a healthy quality of life; thirdly, to attempt to cross- border integration of Chinese music and arts to better integrate into the Australian multicultural society. Melbourne 7 Melody String offers professional indoor music appreciation. It is an orchestra that blends Chinese and Western Cultures. This music makes you really realise that "music has no borders."
