Fancy Dress Disco Supporting beyondblue

The 7th annual Fancy Dress Disco supporting beyondblue is on again and this one promises to be the biggest and best yet!

A night of fun, frivolity, dancing and awesome raffle prizes—all for a good cause! Start planning your epic costume now and book into that cardio class to get your body primed for a night of dancing until your feet fall off.

With no theme and trophies for best individual and group costumes, you can let your imagination run wild! However please note, no kink, horror, racist or gore costumes are permitted. No costume, no entry. As always, 100% of the money raised will go to beyondblue. So far the event has raised over $30,000 in support of beyondblue.

beyondblue promotes good mental health, tackles stigma and discrimination, and provides support and information on anxiety, depression and suicide to everyone in Australia. Many of us have been affected by anxiety and depression, either personally or through family or friends. Right now, over 1 million people in Australia experience depression and 2 million are experiencing anxiety. On average, 8 people take their lives every day in Australia.

The funds and awareness you raise will help enormously to support people to protect their mental health and to recover when they are unwell, reduce stigma and discrimination, and improve people’s opportunities to get effective support and services at the right time.
