An exhibition of contemporary botanical art which combines the precision of science with the artist's response to celebrate the plant world. The exhibition will feature the artists' preparatory drawings, notes and colour studies along with their scientific research. The exhibition will also include displays by Robyn Bauer, the Artist-in-Residence at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens and Nicole Crosswell, the Illustrator for the Queensland Herbarium.
Join us at the opening by Helen Cole, Honorary Librarian at the Queensland Herbarium on Saturday 2 November at 5pm.
