Following the release of his album 'N / O / I / S / E' last year, underground American rapper and metal singer Ghostemane (Eric Whitney) is landing down under for his debut Australian tour this May.

The rapper and producer is known for fusing together hip hop, industrial, and metal. With a degree in Astrophysics, he draws his influences from a plethora of content including psychedelics, Nine Inch Nails, Outkast, medieval magic, occultism, and Ancient Egyptian books. He has so far racked up hundreds of millions of streams across songs such as 'Nihil', 'Mercury: Retrograde', 'Andromeda', '1000 Rounds (w/ Pouya)', and 'Flesh'.

Ghostemane grew up in Florida and was originally a guitar player for hardcore and doom metal bands. He moved to Los Angeles, California in 2015 due to his music not thriving in Southern Florida, giving up his employment at the same time.

Meeting up with JGRXXN, he joined his collective Schemaposse which included artists such as the now-deceased Lil Peep and Craig Xen. In April 2016, Schemaposse disbanded leaving Ghostemane not associated with any group. He eventually began to associate with fellow Florida rapper Pouya. Their friendship resulted in '1000 Rounds', a song that has collected over 50 million streams across platforms.

October last year, he released his 10th studio album 'N / O / I / S / E' (No One Is Safe from Evil). The record has a very dark and aggressive style and it deals a lot with self-harm, self-mutilation, agoraphobia, and many other issues Ghostemane has dealt with personally.

See Ghostemane’s mesmerizing blend of lyrical, machine-gun flows and catchy mantras this May.
