Midsumma Festival

Waiting in line on the morning of its release for Celine’s latest CD, ironically singing Christina’s hit song “Dirrrty” in the shower, breaking up with Mariah’s version of “Can’t Live (If Living Is Without You)”, If you love your GIRL songs as much as Justin and Jamie do, this is the show for you.
Justin Clausen – whose powerhouse vocals were heard in the Green Room Award nominated cabaret The Lady is a Tramp alongside Dolly Diamond, and in the Midsumma shows Butch Masters: Man of Destiny, The Cost of Love and Fabtastix: Behind The Pearls – takes on some of the best songs made famous by some of our favourite ladies, with piano-man “Genius” Jamie Burgess – who frequently entertains aboard P&O’s Pacific fleet, appeared alongside Tash York in the Adelaide Fringe Award winning cabaret Adulting, and with Amity Dry in 39 Forever for MICF.

So grab yourself a glass of bubbles , maybe even some Bolli and nibbly things, and settle in for an hour of power ballads, party songs and Proud Mary's, and keep an eye out for guest appearances from Cher and Celine Dion!
