This Summer we invite you to make HOTA your home as we host 20 events over 15 sun kissed days and long warm nights with something for everyone. Home reflects a feeling of place and belonging, as the end of the year calls for us to come home to celebrate with friends and family.

Slip into Summer with the Gold Coast’s first Roots Music Festival or pack a punch as the ladies of Hot Brown Honey bring the heat with an after party by Yo! Mafia. Kick up your heels as we Dance Beneath the Stars with Hot Potato Band and Everybody Now! in an enchanting night of pop-up dance party.

Discover Osadía and their Avant-garde stylings as you peruse our Artisan Markets and enjoy a lazy beverage in the Lawn Bar—open daily during ‘Home’.

Celebrating our local artists, we move our Outdoor Stage to the Indoors and give you a weeknight out you didn’t expect with the though provoking Mapped GC 2040, Drag and Burlesque smack down Rumble!, and the home-grown cabaret The UnReal Real Housewives of the Gold Coast.

Concrete Culture will have local skate fans tearing up the Outdoor Stage Forecourt with workshops by Rock’n’Slide, demos by Precinct Skate Shop, an exhibition of women in skate by Yeah Girl and music by Radolescent and Perve Endings.

With outdoor visual experiences from The Walls, The South Stradbroke Exhibition and Local artist Samuel Leighton-Dore literally wrapping it all up with our 2019 Christmas Commission bringing a visual feast to the entrance of HOTA.

Deadly Hearts acknowledges our Indigenous Australians and gives you a cross-generation of power-house music by Jessica Mauboy, Archie Roach and more, while our closing concert spectacular Calling Home will toll the bells and transcend faith and traditions with Lior and Parvyn Singh backed by Camerata, Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra.

We’ve created the ultimate summer playlist for you to come home to HOTA this summer.

Presented by HOTA, Home of the Arts.
