Welcome to the free Penmanship and Calligraphy classes at the Logan Hyperdome Library.

The group meets in Meeting Room 2 (downstairs) where you can work in a comfortable setting. Whether it's calligraphy, drawing, painting, or restoring pens, there is always something new to learn and share.

We welcome everyone, whether you're a beginner or a master. The workshops are an opportunity to practice new techniques and fonts, ask difficult questions, and more importantly to learn from our successes and failures.

Don't worry if you don't have any equipment, I have enough spares to get you started. If you are having problems with your pens then bring them along and have them cleaned and serviced.

Don’t be shy, you can stay as long or as little as you like.

These are self-paced classes where you can start on new projects or continue on your earlier ones. You will find it encouraging to talk with other people with similar interests and passion for paper, ink, and drawing.

Other local meetings:
- Browns Plains Library, second Wednesday of the month from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
- Jimboomba, Cafe on Cusack, second Friday of the month from noon to 3:00pm.
- Beenleigh Library, third Wednesday of the month from 09:30-12:30.

- What to bring
You're welcome to bring your own pens, paper and ink or you can share my supplies. Please be very careful if you are bringing ink bottles.

- Important to know
All we ask is to be attentive and courteous to the interests of others.
