I Am Woman With Melinda Schneider & Tania Doko

After Melinda’s incredible experience in January 2019 paying Tribute to Helen Reddy at G’Day USA LA, Melinda is back to stage an event for International Women’s Day called ‘I Am Woman’.

Taking its inspiration from Helen Reddy’s legendary lyric, this brand new show is a musical tribute to female empowerment and women in music. Melinda’s very special guest will be the incredible Tania Doko (Bachelor Girl).

This is a very rare opportunity for audiences to see Melinda and Tania together on stage—Melinda said ‘Tania is such an amazing singer, writer and performer. We rarely work together, but we’ve always been big fans of one another. We really like each other. Naturally, we are usually focused on our own projects and tours, but this year, we thought, why not, let’s bring some of the fun and joy of our friendship to the stage.’

Melinda & Tania will perform their biggest hits, including Melinda’s CMAA Golden Guitar award winning song ‘The Story of My Life’ and Bachelor Girl’s ‘Buses and Trains’, plus ‘sneak peek’ songs from Melinda’s upcoming album, ‘The Woman’‘, Bachelor Girl’s social conscious single Speak’ and their forthcoming release, ‘Wild Child’’. They will also team up to duet on some of the biggest female anthems of all time, from Aretha Franklin, Helen Reddy, Carol King and Joni Mitchell to Chrissie Amphlett and Dolly Parton.

I Am Woman is a celebration of Women in Music.
