IML's annual International Women's Day (IWD) Great Debate seeks to change Australian society for the better by creating, supporting and championing women in Leadership.
2019 Debate topic: "Her aspiration needs his corporation"
With company policies like affirmative action, maternity leave and blind recruitment helping to combat the pay gap and the glass ceiling, Australia is making progress towards equal representation of genders in business. While there is still considerable progress to be made, it seems that the importance of feminism is now more widely embraced than ever.
Through international movements like the Women's Marches and high-profile campaigns like #MeToo, women in leadership have changes the world for future generations. This year, the Institute challenges the notion, "do women need the cooperation of men to succeed in 2019?"
Please join Corinne Grant (2019 MC) and six hand picked, interesting and opinionated leaders who will debate the 2019 topic.
The IML International Women's Day Great Debate's are an inclusion Matters imitative at the Institute of Managers and Leaders and an IWD 2019 Flagship Event.
