Included: The Albatross Nippers Story

Included, is a 35-minute documentary about Albatross Nippers’ amazing mission to help children with special needs experience the joys of surf lifesaving, will premiere at HOTA on the Gold Coast.

The award-winning initiative is entering its fifth season and is conducted within the Nobby’s Beach SLSC Nipper program, so that all kids (Albatross Nippers and Nippers) can train alongside one another. The documentary tells the incredible story about the effects this inclusive program has had within the Surf Life Saving community. Growing year on year, the Albatross Nippers program currently has more than 100 families with special needs children and young adults as registered participants.

In a bid to raise awareness of the program, Albatross Nippers founder Nick Marshall has teamed up with filmmaker Shannon Johnston (Risen Film) to document the group’s proud history and emotional journey to qualify for the 2019 Queensland Surf Life Saving Championships.
