In our modern world it seems whatever our lifestyle we will at times experience unhappiness, stress and anxiety. These states of mind prevent us from experiencing peace and enjoying life.
Since the real source of happiness is inner peace, if our mind is peaceful we will be calm and happy all the time, but if it is disturbed or troubled in any way, we will never be happy, no matter how good our external conditions may be.
On this day course Gen Kelsang Dornying will explain how to develop inner peace. He will explain how Buddhist meditation, combined with a change in our perspective on life, enables us to reduce and finally eliminate negative states of mind. By applying this advice in our daily life we will come to enjoy a relaxed and peaceful mind all the time, thereby creating a happy and meaningful life.
The teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Dornying. Gen Dornying is the resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Melbourne and teaches with a warmth and humility that is naturally inspiring.
