Jess has come a long way since she taught herself how to play the guitar as a teen on the central coast of NSW. Her unconventional career path through low-fi home-made recordings and experimental gigs at venues including cemeteries and roundabouts has paid off. Big time. In 2017, through her beguiling melodies and beautiful words, her album ‘Universe’ nabbed a four-star Rolling Stone review, a triple J feature album spot, a national tour and a performance at Falls. Critics and fans have fallen under her spell, and so have we.
