The Jewish International Film Festival returns to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra for another incredible year of excellent Jewish cinema from around the globe, building on almost 30 years of Jewish film festivals in Australia.

In 2019, the Festival will also move into the Ritz Cinema in Randwick—the new home of the Festival in Sydney. Each year, the Jewish International Film Festival presents a truly diverse selection of films from Australia and around the world. In 2018, the Festival screened over 60 films from 23 countries including Israel, Australia, Russia, Romania, France, Germany, Hungary, Austria Ukraine, and the US.

The Festival arrives in: Sydney at Ritz Cinema, Randwick (23 Oct–21 Nov) and Roseville Cinemas, Roseville (2–20 Nov); Melbourne at Classic Cinemas, Elsternwick (24 Oct–20 Nov), Lido Cinemas, Hawthorn (25 Oct–20 Nov) and Cameo Cinemas, Belgrave (7–20 Nov); Brisbane at New Farm Cinemas (7–17 Nov); Canberra at Dendy Cinemas (7–17 Nov); and Perth at Greater Union Cinemas, Morley (6–17 Nov).

"The 2019 program is jam-packed with extraordinary new Jewish cinema from Israel and the diaspora, with both excellent local productions and acclaimed international stories that will into offer wonderful insight into the unique vibrancy of Jewish culture around the world," said Jewish International Film Festival Artistic Director, Eddie Tamir. "We’re also very excited to move to our brand new home in Sydney: the gorgeous art deco Ritz Cinema in Randwick."
