Welcome to the free Penmanship and Calligraphy classes at Cafe on Cusack, Jimboomba.
The group have a reserved table, first on the left, as you enter the Cafe. We can work in a comfortable setting on calligraphy, drawing, painting, or restoring pens.
We welcome everyone, whether you're a beginner or a master. The workshops are an opportunity to practice new techniques and styles, ask difficult questions, and more importantly to learn from our successes and failures.
Don't worry if you don't have any equipment, I always bring enough spares to get you started. If you are having problems with your pens then bring them along and have them cleaned and serviced.
Don’t be shy, and you can stay as long or as little as you like.
These are self-paced classes where you can start on new projects or continue on your earlier ones. You will find it encouraging to talk with other people with similar interests and passion in paper, ink, and drawing.
