The free Citi New Recruits program provides disadvantaged and disengaged young people in Victoria with the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge required to succeed in the workforce of the 21st century. The upcoming Citi New Recruits program will accelerate your career in the automotive industry. Throughout the program you will:

- Find out about employer expectations
- Learn job interview techniques and how to prepare your CV
- Develop job-ready skills required for the 21st century workforce
- Gain exposure to an automotive environment through one week of work experience
- Learn technical automotive skills and gain insights into the latest automotive industry trends

The aim of this program is for participants to develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in an automotive apprenticeship. To be eligible you must be:

- Between the ages of 17 and 24
- Looking for employment and/or further study in: automotive, business, information technology, horticulture, government or other industries
- An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

You must also be able to demonstrate one of the following criteria:

- Financial hardship (e.g a Health Care Card)
- A disability as defined in Equal Opportunity Act
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- From a non-English speaking background
- From a rural/remote area and have relocated

NB: Participants must be available on Feb 1 to come in for enrollment.
