Make a difference this World Oceans Day!

Examine what litter ends up on our beaches and in our oceans and contribute data to a global citizen science project. Discover the impact marine debris has on marine life.

Join Parks Victoria Rangers in a beach litter collection and educational activity morning. We will begin at Urquharts Bluff car park where we will clean up the beach and get stuck into some fun educational activities. The finish time is flexible depending on the activities and how long people wish to stay.

Please meet at the Urquharts Bluff Carpark, Great Otway National Park, approximately 7kms west of Anglesea Township along the Great Ocean Road. This activity is suitable for children aged 6–12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. Sturdy footwear (no thongs or barefeet!), drinking water, hat, sunscreen and appropriate clothing are essential.

Please bring gardening gloves or tongs for litter pick up. Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.
