Karen Lee Andrews (formerly Ms Murphy) has reconnected with her guitar, hitting new strides and a new style, which can only be described as Oceanic Blues. And now this proud Polynesian woman of soul is back with her own original music and new EP. With special guests Cookie Baker & Telos Teacup.

Karen Lee Andrews:
Karen Lee Andrews (formerly Ms Murphy) has reconnected with her guitar, hitting new strides and a new style, which can only be described as Oceanic Blues. And now this proud Polynesian woman of soul is back with her own original music and new EP. Her sound is an exceptional blend of American Blues and Soul. The roots of the sound are gritty guitar, glowing valves, lush tremolo and deep reverb in a distinctively fluid Oceanic expression. This commanding woman of soul is back and the depths of her voice unlimited. She is fast becoming a festival favourite, but on Fri 22nd Feb she will be at The Spotted Mallard with her world class band—Adam Ventoura on bass and Yanya Boston on drums.

Cookie Baker:
Cookie Baker is a pint-sized melodic force to be reckoned with. A walking, talking exercise in compact contradiction and adaptation. As gutsy in person as she is empathetic on stage, as careful with her picked guitar as she is unapologetic with her incisive words, as warm in her interactions as she is unafraid of bringing airtime to the hard stuff.

Telos Teacup:
Devoted to a stripped-back, acoustic sound, Wazza's 6-string is accompanied only by a small but masterfully-played collection of Marlon's percussion instruments, featuring in particular the Spanish cajon.

Doors 6pm for dinner.
8:30–9:00pm - Telos Teacup
9:15–10:00pm - Cookie Baker
10:15–11:15pm - Karen Lee Andrews
