Easy to learn mindfulness & meditation techniques.
3-week short course format for people with little or no experience. You will learn both meditation and mindfulness related to dealing with stress. Over 6 years of meditation teaching experience in Australia from 2013.
3 x 1.5 hour classes held three consecutive Wednesday evenings. The course aims to give you the skills to reduce stress, improve sleep, enhance mental clarity and increase quality of life. Each class includes 2–4 meditations with theory, guidance and discussion.
We cover four main techniques that teach body relaxation and mental calm.
- Body-Movement Exercises. (softens the body and builds a base for the following techniques)
- Mental Calm. (Calms and focuses overactive minds)
- Body-Sense Tranquility. (breath awareness trains you to be more calm, relaxed and happy)
- Body-scan Relaxation. (sleep better, lower blood pressure, reduce fatigue and aging, and manage pain)
- Much more - comprehensive short course with online weekly instructions and audio package
This course is cumulative with discussion and feedback, and offers the opportunity to reflect on results and progress. You are likely to get good results from the very first class. During the course we encourage you to sit in chairs, not on the floor.
