Ahead of International Day of the Girl (11th October), LEGO® is hosting Play Her Way, an event to inspire the next generation of girls.

Taking place over two days on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd October at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney, Play Her Way is a fun celebration of imagination and creativity to remind girls that they can now, more than ever, play by their own rules and be whatever they want.

LEGO will bring to life the worlds of sport, science, art & design, entertainment and adventure through a colourful variety of interactive experiences, that encourage girls to let their imaginations run wild and explore all of the things they love.

Whether she wants to be an astronaut, design robots or fashion, a sports or TV star, an archaeologist or a vet, this event will give girls the chance to be immersed into different worlds and discover what it’s like to Play Her Way with their dream futures.

On top of the fun of exploring each world, there will be creative activities to take part in and each girl will receive their own journal filled with details about each world and an opportunity to note their thoughts and future goals.

Ticketed two-hour sessions will be running throughout both days, so make sure you register for free via Eventbrite.

Tickets will be released in two rounds. First round tickets are available from the 11th of September. Second round tickets will be released on the 20th of September at 10am. There is a strict maximum of 4 tickets per family.

Free, must be registered via Eventbrite. This event is designed to inspire girls, aged 5–8-year old. Perfect for parents and their daughters looking for something special to do over the school holidays. Children of all ages and genders welcome, must be accompanied by an adult.

Don’t forget to join the celebration on social media, using the hashtag #LEGOPlayHerWay.
