Let Your Heart Shine: Sacred Cacao Ritual & Dance Ceremony

Connect, awaken and open your senses to the wild pulse of love that moves through you...

With Cacao as our ally, we will tap into the natural intelligence and aliveness that resides within! Join us on Saturday, June 15th, as we welcome the darkness of winter that is upon us and explore our internal landscape through dance, meditation, breath, and ceremony.

In participating in this Cacao Ceremony, you will have the opportunity to engage more lovingly and authentically with yourself, with others, and the world around you. Cacao has been used for millennia in meditation and in ceremonies to support focus, insight, to reconnect with the heart and to uplift the spirit- the cacao brew we shall drink is lovingly prepared with ceremonial grade cacao.

Ceremonial grade cacao is powerful chocolate that has the quantity and balance of compounds and energies to properly support the Cacao Spirit in partnering with you.

Phoenix Onesong Marolda, will be facilitating this journey with Cristina Rola Jiminez special guests TBA.

About Phoenix:
Phoenix's passion is in hosting ceremony and holding sacred space that supports personal and collective transformation. She is the director of Dancing Freedom and founder of Synergy: Intentional Dance Experience, she is committed to empowering and weaving deep tribal connections, working with the medicine of dance and reclaiming her Earth wisdom. She has been hosting these cacao ceremonies for some time and is excited to be offering this ritual, with you all, after taking a long needed break. During this ceremony she will be calling upon the power of the elements through prayer and dance in addition to guiding us all deeper into our present moment experience.

About Rola

DJ Rola is one of the community's most treasured musical alchemists. From whomp to funk, she aligns her eclectic music collection to take you on a journey to the roots of your gut and the crown of your joy. The core of her passion stems from her own dance practice where she allows herself to fully embody every nuance of the sounds, allowing it to become her and heal her. By providing dance spaces and dance therapy, she facilitates an opportunity for others to share this healing effect of music as medicine.

Rola and Phoenix have thoroughly enjoyed collaborating sacred dance spaces for people to dive deep into their bodies, hearts and spirits.

Special notes:

Cacao is optional for all participants

Cacao is known to be a heart opening plant- which also means—you may have to look at or feel what stands in the way of you being more fully in yours. We do however, co-create an environment where this can be done in a fun and celebratory way (but be advised you will feel things deeply).

We strongly advise you to refrain from eating any big meal in the 3–4 hours preceding the ceremony to increase the efficacy of the cacao and to enhance your experience. This will also reduce the potential for any negative interactions with anything in your stomach. If you must eat, please eat lightly and simply (no greasy or dense foods).

Reminders:
- Please arrive by 7:00—to settle in and make yourself at home. We will sit in circle promptly at 7:30.
- Please bring a water bottle and wear comfy clothes to move (you will get hot!)
- Please bring a plate of healthy food to share after the ceremony.
- Please read the welcome letter that will be sent with your ticket purchase.
