"We get it, it’s cold and miserable out there, the world feels like it’s going to shit, and more and more times a day you read something that makes you think “we’re all doomed, the idiots are taking over…"

But we have just the thing to chase those winter blues away! Saturday the 27th of July Bombay Rock presents a 4-band lineup of punk rock goodness with Letters To Amara, All We Need, Brodown, and Newtown Story!

Letters To Amara
5-piece Pop Punk outfit Letters To Amara have just dropped their debut EP “From The Beginning” and have built a name for themselves with a high energy live show. They’ve been playing shows with Between You And Me, Eat Your Heart Out, and Loose End to name a few as well as putting on their own School tour in May! A mix of heavy riffs with soaring melodic vocals, hardcore breakdowns and fist pumping choruses Letters To Amara create the kind of music that totally immerses you in the sound and sticks with you for days afterwards. For fans of: Paramore, Blink 182, Four Year Strong, Heartsounds, Trophy Eyes.

All We Need
4-piece All We Need formed in late 2011 and since then have played shows in Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales and all over Victoria. Their high energy punk rock style would not be out of place on the Tony Hawk Pro Skater soundtrack and combine a driving rhythm section with tasty melodic guitars and powerful vocals. AWN have played with 28 Days, The Getaway Plan and Adam Brand (yes, he’s a country singer and the gig was in regional Victoria!) and have a self titled EP available on Spotify, Youtube, Apple Music and most other streaming platforms. For fans of: Anti Flag, Against Me!, Green Day, The Movielife

Brodown
3 dudes "writing songs about beer, food and social etiquette since 2010"—if that isn’t the most succinct awesome description of a band I’ve heard in a long while! Brodown punch out short, sharp tunes that roll from all out punk rock to ska and back with snappy lyrics and head nodding rhythms. In February they released their latest album “The Adventures of Brodown and the Mutant Pizza Goblin from Outer Space” and it’s 8 tracks of musical goodery. I’m not sure if that’s a word yet but when it does enter the cultural lexicon you can be sure it will be defined as “having the qualities of Brodown ie: really really good”. For fans of: The Vandals, Reel Big Fish, Bowling For Soup, Dillinger Four

Newtown Story
Formed in 2017 Newtown Story are a 4 piece band who can play brutally honest heartfelt tunes that hit you right there…yeah, you know that place...the feels…and then switch up to anthemic sing-alongs and bouncy fun just when you thought you had them figured out. That’s probably a weird way to describe things but the point is that they’re really good and you should come check them out and make up your own more accurate descriptions. They’ve got a split with The Cooks called "My Friends Are Your Friends", go have a listen and try to stop yourself singing along to the catchy chorus of “Bikes Down Basements”! For fans of: PUP, Ceres, The Lawrence Arms, Banner Pilot.

Doors 7pm.
Bands 8pm till late.
