Acclaimed singer/songwriter, Bloom, brings the music of Linda Ronstadt to life with an incredible band featuring some of Australia’s most respected musicians.

Celebrating 40 years since Linda Ronstadt first toured Australia in February 1979, Linda charmed audiences before selling out around the country. She has released over 30 studio albums, won 11 Grammys, 3 American Music Awards and 1 Emmy Award.

Constantly feeling she was born in the wrong generation, for Bloom this tour is as personal as it gets. Bloom has a feverish connection with the decades of the 60’s & 70’s and has a strong urge to bring Linda Ronstadt’s musical legacy to future generations.

Bloom has had heads turning and has been gaining International critical acclaim with her effortless soulful vocal resonance of power vocalists Adele and Amy Winehouse with her ‘Adele & Amy Songbook tour’. Six-time Golden Guitar Award Winning singer/songwriter Melinda Schneider describes her as “the next generation of amazing vocalists!”

Expect to hear tracks that made the 1979 tour set list including timeless hits as “Blue Bayou”, “When Will I Be Loved”, “It’s So Easy”, “When Something Is Wrong With My Baby” and many more. As Linda did to Australian audiences in 1979, come and be charmed by the Australian vocal powerhouse that is Bloom and celebrate all that is Linda Ronstadt.

It is widely known that Linda was forced to retire from singing in 2009 as a result of Parkinson’s disease. Subsequently, Bloom is lending her voice with this tour to help raise awareness of Parkinson’s disease supporting the Shake It Up Australia Foundation’s quest to find a cure.

Donations can be made for Shake It Up Australia via collection tins at each of Bloom’s shows or online at Bloom's website.
